Summer updates -- Several updates today.

Volleyball summer strength and conditioning workouts are now through the week of August 17th--Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 to 11:00am. Extra workouts and folders are available in the weight room. In case you can't make one of those times, the weight room is also open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 5:00 to 7:00pm.

Open gyms for volleyball will be held Wednesdays in July following the morning workout from approximately 10:45 to noon.

Former Bears and future Williamette Bearcats, Nicole Mertens and Brigit Miller will represent Olympia High School by playing in the 4A All-State Volleyball match on July 18th. The match is scheduled for 8:00pm at Fife H.S. Make plans to go up and support Nicole and Brigit.

Success at State -- The Bears finished the year with an amazing 6th place finish at the State Tourney in Kennewick, knocking off repeat champion Mead along the way.

Coach Laurie Creighton was recognized at the tournament by being inducted into the Washington State Volleyball Coaches Hall of Fame. Coach Creighton also received a lifetime achievement award from her alma mater, Washington State University.
