Coach Creighton returns for her 33rd year as Head Coach for the Bear's Volleyball program. She sets high expectations both on and off the court and has established a tradition of excellence.

Laurie taught at Washington Middle School before moving to OHS in 1990. She is a graduate of Washington State University and currenty teaches "Fitness for Life" to freshmen at OHS. Laurie was inducted into the Washington State Volleyball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2008. Coach Creighton also received a lifetime achievement award from her alma mater, the Washington State University.

The 2010 team represents the 19th time Coach Creighton has taken teams to the State Tournament. Of those teams, 11 have placed in the top 8 including: 2nd, two 3rds, 4th, 5th, four 6th (2010), 7th (2009) and an 8th place in 2005. The Bears won the AAA State Championship in 1998.

Katie Turcotte
Junior Varsity Coach

Coach Katie Turcotte rejoins the program for the fifth year. She brings a wealth of knowledge for her experience as a high school and college player and previous positions as a high school coach.

Coach Turcotte transferred from Rochester last year where she was slated to be the Varsity coach for their volleyball team. Coach Turcotte played collegiate volleyball at UNLV.

Amber Wetzel
C-Team Coach

This is Coach Wetzel's second year of coaching volleyball. She coached one year at Montesano shortly after high school. She has played volleyball since the 5th grade and received three varsity letters at Hoquiam High School in the sport. She won the MVP award in volleyball her senior year.

Coach Wetzel went on to play basketball and fastpitch at Grays Harbor College. She earned her Specialty Dessert and Breads certificate from Seattle Central Community College in 2000.

In addition to being a volleyball coach, she is a stay at home mom to her two sons.
